Description

Statistical methods are crucial to understanding the reality. Their applications include since health, industrial engineering or the biology studies to the environmental and social sciences. In these and other fields, the increasing availability and complexity of the data, requires the development of suitable statistical methods and the study of their properties. Thus, mathematical statistician finds himself ahead of high variety challenges. First of all, to propose a model joined with a statistical method that may attack the problem. In second place, the theoretical properties of the method proposed should be studied to identify the situations in which it´ll provide suitable replies. In third place, to make simulation studies to research the functioning of the method in real cases. Finally, to prepare an easy – to – use computer code or software for help to the users concerned in the practical implementation of the method proposed. This project is trying to cover all these aspects in the Statistics research.
